iPhone X vs Samsung Galaxy Note 8 – Features, Price, Design, Performance and Camera Compared!
As a way to celebrate 10 years since Apple launched the iPhone, the company offered a new product to the market that everyone is talking about. The iPhone X has come as a surprise to many due to its wide variety of new features, and it has broken the tradition at Apple with a new design that many think is amazing. In its category, the iPhone X competes with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Below is a comparison between the two smartphones to help you judge which deserves your vote.

Design
Starting with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, it is built with a thin design that features a curved screen, which nearly covers its entire face. This eliminates the borders leaving no space for a home button. Samsung, therefore, placed the fingerprint sensor at the back of the gadget near the rear-facing camera. The design gives the phone an overall sleek image.

On the other hand, iPhone X also comes with a wide screen that spans end to end, covering its face. However, the phone has gotten rid of the fingerprint feature altogether, and this is in replacement with the face-scanning security feature. The casing of the phone is made of stainless steel and glass.

Display
When it comes to display, the iPhone X is equipped with an organic light-emitting diode screen (OLED), which makes it the first handset by Apple to have such a screen. The screen bundles 458 pixels to an inch and is 5.8 inches measured diagonally.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 on the other end comes with a 6.3 inches wide screen and just like the iPhone X, it runs on the OLED technology. Its infinity display offers 521 pixels per inch with a higher resolution compared to the iPhone X, and this should mean better picture quality.

Cameras
The Galaxy Note 8 becomes the first handset from Samsung to come with dual rear-facing cameras. Each lens offers 12-megapixel resolution and is built with wide-angle views as well as telephoto. The camera also offers a strong performance in low light and the front-facing camera boasts 8 megapixels, which is good news to selfie junkies.

For iPhone X, the story is similar as the phone comes with two 12-megapixel rear-facing cameras. The lenses are designed to offer telephoto and wide-angle shots. It can also perform excellently in low-light conditions. One difference between the two phones is that the rear cameras of apple are positioned vertically while on Note 8 the cameras are aligned horizontally. The front camera on the iPhone X can do full HD resolution and has a 7-megapixel sensor.

Special features
The most notable special feature in the Galaxy Note 8 is its Pen stylus, which allows users to write digitally on the screen. The handset also offers different security features including face scanner, fingerprint sensor, and iris scanner.

On the other end, iPhone X also stands pretty with the Face ID face scanning security feature, which will replace finger print scanning, giving better security. The handset runs on the A11 Bionic processor.
