Xiaomi released the 2017 version of their Notebook Air which looks really nice. The most appealing factor of the XIAOMI MI Notebook (besides hardware) is the nice look and build materials that you are getting for relatively low prices. The article will present a review of the  XIAOMI MI Notebook Air 13.3 with the most important aspects to take into consideration.

Specifications

An important factor besides the price when you are looking for a notebook is the hardware that it comes with. In this case, the Xiaomi Notebook comes with an i5-7200U dual core and a GeForce MX150. Preferably I would like to with and have an 8th Intel processor on it as the cores would have been doubled and performance for the CPU with 30-40% higher.  Below is the complete list of the specifications:

Important aspects

  • Xiaomi Notebook comes with Windows 10 but only in Chinese if you want English you need to purchase a license
  • Some are complaining that the noise of the fans are higher than average
  • The price of around 850$ is a very good price for the HW and the nice look
  • only USB Type-C not a thunderbolt
  • at this point can only be bought from Gearbest not on Amazon yet
